NOSTALGIA
Writing as one who shares his passions
between engineering craftsmanship and
aesthetics, I find that cars and watches have
much in common when it comes to assessing
their qualities.
Watchmakers and auto designers alike have
presented works which seemed destined to
become classics. Transcending the daily fads
which come and go, the masterpieces here
have endured the test of time. However, the
science behind each one has improved over
the decades, and their authors felt that these
beauties should benefit from that progression
without losing their grace.
